A little bit about your photographer…
Photography has always been a little piece of who I am. It brings out an indescribable feeling of joy every time I focus my lens. I get pumped during sessions, often squealing with excitement, while I capture each frame. Through your images, I want to share that feeling with you.
I have been saying for years that I started my photography journey in my high school dark room. Which is true, that is when I started considering a career in the field. However, when I really think about it, my journey really started with my dad’s 35mm “point and shoot” camera when I was about six years old. Capturing the random and the raw became more than a childhood pastime. What started out as a curiosity, truly developed into longing to create art through light and a lens.
When I am not behind the camera, I have a chaotically-organized, busy life that I would not trade for anything. I have four amazing children who make me a better mother and person every day. A husband that makes me laugh more than anyone. He is my best friend. And a dog that is truly convinced he is human (seriously, just ask him). It is a crazy-beautiful life and I love it.

My sessions are relaxed and guided.
I’ll help with location ideas, styling suggestions, and gentle direction so you never feel unsure in front of the camera.
The goal is for you to feel comfortable enough to simply be yourself; that’s when the most meaningful portraits happen.
